A MODEL OF EFFICIENCY.
Tahoe earns best-in-class 9.5 L/100 km highway and 14.4 L/100 km city ratings on 4x4 models† thanks to Active Fuel Management® and Variable Valve Timing (VVT) technologies on the 320 hp Vortec 5.3L V8, in addition to the six-speed automatic transmission that includes two overdrive gears. Active Fuel Management shuts down four cylinders under low-demand operating conditions, such as when cruising at highway speeds or on level stretches of road. When power demands increase, such as during acceleration, the engine switches back to eight-cylinder operation.
IT HAS THE CAPACITY.
Tahoe has enough room inside the cabin to transport your passengers and all their gear. Unlike Ford Expedition or Nissan Armada, Tahoe offers seating for up to nine††. That leaves 479 L (16.9 cu. ft.) of cargo space behind the third row. It can expand to an enormous 3084 L (108.9 cu. ft.) of space with the second-row seat folded down and the third-row removed. The 60/40 split-folding second-row bench and 50/50 removable third-row bench provide excellent versatility, enabling you to take full advantage of Tahoe's enormous capacity.
